The Sacred Dance
™of the Breath
Our body is an instrument, and our breath is its musician. When breath and movement are synchronized, the spirit grounds itself into the body and the body becomes fully alive.
The Sacrum as Pulse: The sacrum (Latin for ‘sacred’) functions as a pump, circulating life force and
cerebrospinal fluid to higher energy centers. When activated through movement, it frees frozen states
on all levels — physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
The Breath as Choreographer: Breath determines rhythm, volume, and placement of movement, guiding the nervous system, oxygenation, and heart rate. Together, breath and movement create a sacred dance that deepens embodiment, awakens dormant vitality, and makes what was once unconscious, conscious.

The Sacred Dance of the Breath™
Origin Story
Sacred Dance of the Breath™ was born from my years of study in Continuum Movement® with Emily
Conrad, where soundings into the body created natural spirals, waves, and serpentine patterns.
Through personal exploration, I discovered that intentional movements of the pelvis and spine, together
with the movement of breath itself, could activate these natural waveforms. This became a lifelong
practice — a dance that grounds spirit, nourishes the body, and awakens vitality.
When I later trained in SOMA Breath®, I discovered the perfect structure of rhythmic breathing to upbeat meditation music for sharing this work.

My beloved teacher who taught me how to feel the ocean in my own body….
My beloved teacher who showed me that I could catch the winds of my breath and sail the seas in my body.
Inhaling the undertow and exhaling the crashing waves until the ocean breathed me.
My beloved teacher who showed me how to undulate currents and cascades of water until I knew that the whole universe and the ecstasy of creation existed inside of me.
Your legacy is sacred.
Forever, I will carry you in my heart, and dance with you in the waves of creation.
Tribute to my beloved movement teacher
